“To us it is a no-brainer. Why would a property owner deal with all of the costs, paperwork and headaches associated with installing a new lighting systems when they can call a firm like Ecosmart or Green City Lights to do it for them.

They take care of the complete retrofit process from start to finish. This includes FUNDING, FIXTURES, INSTALLATION, PROPER DISPOSAL and RECYCLING.

Why do it any other way?”

The Federal Government passed a sweeping new federal energy law. The new law will ban the sale of all incandescent light bulbs by 2012. California law has a 2009 target and some counties and municipalities are aiming for next year. The timing of the new law’s enactment may be a bit uncertain.

One issue is perfectly clear, property and building owners will need to replace their traditional lighting with energy efficient systems sometime very soon!
